3D Marine

3D Marine came into being in 1989 when three "David's", David Marsh, David Scruton and David Carlisle, took over the U.S operations of a British company via a management buyout. The name given to the new company reflected the three David's.

While David Carlisle later returned to the United Kingdom to accept a senior position with the British Maritime Authorities, David Marsh and David Scruton remained in Houston to slowly develop the base of operations.

An office was opened in Maracaibo, Venezuela, and others followed in Belize, Miami and Brownsville each strategically located to ensure a rapid response to clients needs in the gulf coast.

With the development of an engineering division as well as tanker and dry cargo departments, 3D Marine is in a position to assist owners and charterers with the majority of vessel issues.
